SHERI HALL

Sheri Hall died on July 24, 2022, at the Kansas City Hospice house. She was born on January 2, 1958, in Kansas City, Mo., to Robert Steele and Mary Jane Phiffer.

She was preceded in death by Nathaniel Pearson, Willie Ethel Pearson, Ethel Marshall, and Frankie Hill.

Mrs. Hall received her formal education through St. Vincent Elementary school and Bishop Lillis High school. She was an accomplished cheerleader and track star. She professed Jesus Christ as Lord in her life and joined the Second Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of Dr. Donald D. Ford to further her spiritual walk. She was a Robotics teacher and helped start the Windsteppers AAU Track Team.

She was united in holy matrimony to Mark Hall on August 19, 2006. She was employed by Wilson McShane as an IT Tech, and she was previously employed in the IT sector with Sprint and Yellow Freight.

She was a lover of people and the outdoors. Her love for people was expressed as a certified HAM Responder where she had to be armed with GEAR to climb a mountain and rescue those in distress. She taught women’s selfdefense class as a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and a 1st Degree Don in Shindoqrue. She was a Master Seamstress and made her own wedding dress. Her love for the outdoors was exhibited through horseback riding, river rafting, mountain climbing, and camping. She was truly a tomboy at heart.

She leaves the following to cherish her memory, her beloved mother, Mary Jane Phiffer; husband, Mark Hall; son, Brandon Jamerson; daughter, Rachel Pearson; stepdaughter, Raina Hall; sister, Dutchas Phiffer; nephews, Cory Fairweather, Sage Phiffer King, and a grand niece, Cora Dutchas Fairweather.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the Second Baptist Missionary church.

Interment, Mt. Moriah cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. at the church.
