Services To Be Held Monday

Celebration of the Life of Barbara Jean Flowers will be Monday, August 8, at The Watkins Heritage chapel, 4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., KCMO 64130. Reviewal will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., Services begin at 11 a.m. The family is asking that friends consider making a donation, instead of flowers, to the “Granny Flowers” scholarship that will award monetary assistance to Black youth going into the Healthcare professions through the Greater Kansas City Community foundation. “Granny Flowers” believed in the next generation and we want to honor her legacy by supporting them and keeping “Granny Flowers” service of care alive. Donors may make their check/money order out to Barbara Flowers, and mail it to 5610 Grand Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72904 or use Cash App $GrannyBarbaraFlowers and put your address in the “Note” box. The family thanks evereyone for their support. Everyone will receive a formal “Thank You” for their donation.
