HENRY HOLLIDAY

Sunrise:

April 23, 1921

Sunset: December 12, 2015

WWII Veteran, inventor, artist, cartographer and professional singer. His quiet demeanor surprised everyone when they heard a deep bass voice flow from his 6 foot frame. There was always a song in his heart and with the right encouragement, he’d allow that song to fill the air. He loved nothing more than his family and would be so proud to see his new great, great grandson. Your nieces and nephews know you are entertaining the angels in heaven with deep melodic tunes. We miss you.

Your family,

The Hollidays

WWII Veteran, heavy equipment business owner, negotiator, peacemaker, repairman of anything. You were the father that other children wanted as their own and such a kind and gentle person that others nicknamed you “Peace”. You’d just say you were trying to get into heaven. Your passing left a deep void in the hearts of your family, that we struggle to fill. In difficult situations, we listen quietly for the whispers of your voice providing sage advice. Please rest knowing that you were so kind to others that we know you met your mission of earning your crown in glory. Sadly missed by

Your family,

The Hollidays

WWI Veteran, farmer, town doctor, town arbiter, and expert shape-note singer. Grandpa Knox was a religious man, who single-handedly did an excellent job of raising a beautiful daughter and 3 sons, who were/are the epitome of manhood. Your grandchildren hope we make you proud of the legacy that has blossomed from your guidance, allowing you to rest comfortably in heaven knowing you completed a job well done. You are in our hearts forever.

Your family,

The Hollidays
