Kansas Prince Hall Grand Chapter Ends 138th Session

Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Kansas Jurisdiction concluded its 138th Annual Session recently in Lawrence, Kansas. Grand Worthy Matron Marsha L. Brown and Grand Worthy Patron husband David C. Brown both of Jennie N. Moore #50 Chapter-Kansas City, were afforded the honor to lead the organization again next year.

Greetings were extended from Grand Worthy Matron of Missouri, Ethel Smith-Johnson, who brought with her the Grand Worthy Patron of Missouri Rev. Elmer Cunningham, the Grand Associate Matron, and the Grand Conductress.

Grand Worthy Matron Brown focused on “embracing technology as we move forward,” and noted with pride and joy the camaraderie of the sisters and brothers who came together to continue to enhance the principles and tenets of the Eastern Star.

Officers for the next year are Grand Associate Matron Georgia Wright, of Electa #2-Kansas City, Grand Conductress Brenda P. Sylvan of Jennie N. Moore #50-Kansas City, Grand Associate Conductress Shantelle Tolbert of St. Tabitha #75, Junction City, Grand Treasurer Linda Pryor of Jennie N. Moore #50-Kansas City, Grand Secretary Carmen Hytche of Lutie A. Brown #16-Wichita, and, Grand Custodial Secretary LaShasta Boykin of Electa #2-Kansas City.
