LAMONT PINKNEY

LaMont Allen Pinkney, was born on April 5, 1975, in Kansas City, Mo., to the union of Noel Pinkney and Ethel Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, Noel; and uncles, Herbert Parker Sr., and Shaun Thompson; grandparents, LeRoy Smith Sr., and Evelyn Smith; and paternal grandmother, Allie Pinkney.

Known as “Elmonteban”, he attended Fairview Elementary school in Independence, Mo.; he then attended Central Middle school and then graduated from Central Senior High school in Kansas City, Mo.. While in high school he was offered employment with the General Service Administration in Kansas City due to his class standing. He went on to attend Lincoln university in Jefferson City, Mo., where he received his college diploma.

After college, he went on to work at the

Wanda G. Reardan, 73, of Overland Park, Kas., died on Saturday, March 18, 2023. She was born on December 30, 1949, in Kansas City, Kas., to Robert and Madeleine (Farinot) Jones.

She retired from Sprint in the Human Resources Department.

She is survived by her children, Michael and his wife Morgan Reardan, Jennifer and her husband, Chase Dietrich; siblings, Marlene G. Wright, Blanche A. Trent, Floyd “Ricky” Jones; six grandchildren and many extended family.

Private family services will be held.
