JASON BRYANT

Jason E. Bryant, 51, affectionately known as Joker or JB, died on Sunday, April 23, 2023. He was born on November 14, 1971, to Nadejala Bryant.

He attended Kansas City, Public schools and was a part of the Paseo class of 1989.

He was employed by D. Elliot as a machine operator for several years. He also worked in maintenance and most recently was self-employed.

He loved traveling, the Raiders and his children. He loved spending time with his family and hanging out with his close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nadejala Bryant; grandmother, Estell Bryant; and grandfather, Ralph Bryant.

He leaves his children, Jarelle Bryant, Jaebrielle Bryant, Amaris Bryant, Jason Bryant Jr., Nydea Bradley, and Jace Bradley; grandchildren, Jia Bryant, Maddox Norton, and Kobi BryantWynn; and aunts, Nispa Bryant (Leola Vey), Ursula Stewart (Henry Stewart) and Kathy Richardson to cherish his memory.

Robert Lee Moore died on April 24, 2023. He quietly departed this life in the comfort of his South Kansas City home, surrounded by his wife and two bonus sons after a long illness. He was born on December 10, 1953, in Kansas City, Mo., to Ernest Lee Moore II, and Bertha Clydine Moore. He was an early Christmas present to his family. He was known as Bobby to family and close friends. He was the fourth and last child of Ernest and Bertha.

He was educated in the Kansas City Public schools, attending Central Jr. High school, Paseo High school and Penn Valley Community college. He resided with his sister for a period of time and attended Central High school in Springfield, Mo.

Robert enlisted in the US Air Force shortly after high school and served in South East Asia. He was a Sergeant E-4 when separated with an Honorable discharge.

Moore was a high energy personality with a wide array of interests and talents. He loved music, bowling, gardening, cooking, sports and fixing things. He was an exceptional bowler, having bowled a perfect game of 300 while still in his teens.

He could be passionate about his beliefs, yet open to new ideas. He had compassion for all people in general, especially children. He was also an animal lover.

He was a homebody who enjoyed a quiet life in his older years. He enjoyed visiting family and visits from the grandchildren. Robert treasured family above all things after God. Yes, he acknowledged God and it was evident in his interaction with others. He claimed no religious affiliation but love. Those who knew him on a personal level bore witness to him possessing a heart of gold, sometimes behind a detachment
